- 6 oz tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, mix together tomato paste, water, apple cider vinegar, honey, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt. Stir until well combined.
- Turn the heat up to medium-high and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Once simmering, lower the heat to low and partially cover the pan. Allow it to gently bubble for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes.
- Pour into a container and refrigerate for at least a few hours before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 weeks. Can be blended for a smoother texture.
