Description

A delightful and easy recipe for homemade ketchup that’s tangy, sweet, and bursting with flavor, perfect for all your meals.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, mix together tomato paste, water, apple cider vinegar, honey, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt. Stir until well combined.
  2. Turn the heat up to medium-high and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  3. Once simmering, lower the heat to low and partially cover the pan. Allow it to gently bubble for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Pour into a container and refrigerate for at least a few hours before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 weeks. Can be blended for a smoother texture.
