Description

Delicious and customizable homemade granola bars, perfect for a healthy snack or breakfast option packed with nutrients.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup nuts (almonds, walnuts, or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut butter or almond butter)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: dried fruits, chocolate chips, or seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, nuts, salt, and any optional ingredients.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the honey (or maple syrup) and nut butter until melted and smooth (about 3-4 minutes). Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish in an even layer.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
