- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over your favorite pasta and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
For a silky finish, add a dash of pasta water. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
