Description

A comforting and flavorful dish with juicy shrimp and a rich honey garlic glaze that’s quick to prepare and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Steamed rice and vegetables (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger until well combined. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. When the oil shimmers, add the shrimp.
  3. Add the shrimp in a single layer, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Pour the prepared honey garlic sauce over the shrimp. Stir gently and let it cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Serve the shrimp over a bed of steamed rice and toss in your choice of vegetables. Drizzle more sauce on top if desired.

Notes

Ensure shrimp is defrosted and at room temperature for even cooking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
