Description

A warm and comforting Cheesy Hashbrown Casserole perfect for family gatherings or chilly days.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (30 oz) frozen hash browns
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Stir in the hash browns and half of the shredded cheddar cheese until well mixed.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and smooth it out.
  5. Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider garnishing with freshly chopped parsley or green onions. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-5 days.
