A heartwarming and cheesy casserole made with ground beef, green beans, and layers of creamy goodness.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 2 cups green beans (cooked, fresh or canned)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic for 5-7 minutes, then drain excess grease and stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream until smooth.
- In a greased 9×13” baking dish, layer the cooked beef mixture, green beans, soup mixture, and cheeses.
- Top with crispy fried onions.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, let butter and sour cream come to room temperature. Use thawed frozen green beans for minimal moisture.
