- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup crispy fried onions (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Cook until fully browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in chopped onion and sliced mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes until onion is translucent and mushrooms are tender.
- Mix in cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Combine well.
- Fold in drained green beans until coated in the creamy mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and crispy fried onions on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow to rest a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Great for meal prep.
