Description

A deliciously tangy pasta salad featuring creamy dressing, savory ham, and crunchy dill pickles, perfect for family gatherings and picnics.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta (rotini or penne)
  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 1 cup dill pickles, diced
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and cool.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, diced ham, and diced dill pickles, tossing gently.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and stir until well coated.
  5. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Just before serving, sprinkle fresh dill on top for garnish.

Notes

Can be prepared a day ahead; flavors improve with chilling. Adjust consistency with milk or more mayonnaise if needed.
