Description
Halloween Candy Corn Bark is a vibrant, festive, and incredibly easy no-bake treat perfect for the spooky season. This sweet and salty dessert features a base of melted white chocolate or candy coating, generously sprinkled with candy corn, pretzels, and other Halloween-themed candies, then broken into pieces for a shareable snack.
Ingredients
- 24 ounces High-Quality White Chocolate Chips or Melting Wafers
- 1 cup Classic Candy Corn
- 1/2 cup Halloween-Themed Sprinkles
- Orange Oil-Based Food Coloring
- Yellow Oil-Based Food Coloring
Instructions
- Line a standard baking sheet (approx. 10×15 inches) with parchment paper, ensuring it goes up the sides.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate or candy coating in 30-second intervals, stirring well between each interval, until completely smooth and melted.
- Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and use an offset spatula or spoon to spread it into an even layer, about ¼ inch thick.
- While the chocolate is still wet, immediately sprinkle the candy corn, broken pretzels, nuts (if using), and Halloween sprinkles evenly over the entire surface. Gently press the toppings down slightly so they adhere.
- Allow the bark to set completely at room temperature or, to speed up the process, place it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes until firm.
- Once fully hardened, lift the bark out using the parchment paper and break it into irregular, rustic-sized pieces by hand.
- Store in an airtight container at cool room temperature.
Notes
- For a contrast, you can drizzle melted milk or dark chocolate over the set bark.
- Ensure all toppings are completely dry to prevent the chocolate from seizing.
- Feel free to customize with other mix-ins like M&M’s, Reese’s pieces, or crushed graham crackers.
- This bark makes a fantastic edible gift when packaged in a clear cellophane bag tied with a ribbon.
