Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup Halloween sprinkles
- Candy eyes, colored icing, or melted white chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment.
- Melt butter and chocolate together. Whisk in sugars, then eggs one at a time. Add vanilla.
- Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips if using.
- Spread batter in pan. Bake 25-30 minutes until set but still fudgy.
- Cool completely before decorating.
- Make cobwebs: Melt white chocolate, transfer to piping bag. Pipe concentric circles on brownies, then drag toothpick from center outward to create web pattern.
