- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup guava paste, chopped into chunks
- 1 cup white chocolate chunks
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend this dry mixture into the wet mixture.
- Fold in the guava paste and white chocolate chunks until evenly distributed.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the cookie sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
