Description

Delightful cookies featuring the unique combination of guava paste and creamy white chocolate, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup guava paste, chopped into chunks
  • 1 cup white chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend this dry mixture into the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in the guava paste and white chocolate chunks until evenly distributed.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool on the cookie sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
