Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)

  3. Push vegetables to the side, add ground beef, break apart, and cook for 5-7 minutes until no longer pink.
  4. Stir in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Lower heat, place a slice of cheese over the mixture, cover, and let it melt for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Slice hoagie rolls lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
