Delightfully festive cookies with a soft, chewy texture, topped with a HERSHEY’S KISSES chocolate.

- 50 HERSHEY’S KISSES Brand Milk Chocolates, divided
- 1 package sugar cookie mix (about 17.5 oz.)
- Flour (as called for on your cookie mix package)
- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 Egg (follow your sugar cookie mix’s instructions)
- Food Color (Blue and Yellow for Grinch green)
- Sprinkles (Red heart-shaped preferred)
- 1 tube red decorator’s icing
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Remove wrappers from 50 HERSHEY’S KISSES and set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine 1/3 cup sugar with blue and yellow food coloring until you reach the desired green shade.
- Prepare the sugar cookie dough according to the package instructions, adding food coloring until you achieve Grinch green.
- Divide the dough into 48 equal balls, roll in the green sugar until fully coated.
- Place dough balls on an ungreased cookie sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart. Bake for 7-9 minutes until edges are lightly browned.
- Press a HERSHEY’S KISSES into the center of each cookie right out of the oven.
- Allow to cool for a minute before transferring to a wire rack.
- Melt remaining chocolates and decorate with heart-shaped sprinkles or red icing.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
