- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- ½ cup honey
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions or cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Make the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, olive oil, and honey. Whisk until the honey is fully dissolved.
- Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on a platter and brush them with the marinade. Cover with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F (190°C).
- Season the Salmon: Sprinkle salt and black pepper on both sides of the marinated salmon fillets.
- Grill the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets directly on the grates and grill each side for 4-5 minutes until a honey-glazed crust forms.
- Garnish & Serve: Remove the salmon from the grill and sprinkle with green onions or cilantro before serving.
Notes
Let salmon sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before grilling. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
