A refreshing blend of green tea, mint, and lemon, perfect for cooling down on a warm day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 bags of green tea
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Honey or sugar to taste (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a kettle until it’s rapidly boiling.
  2. Remove from heat and gently add the two bags of green tea along with the fresh mint leaves.
  3. Let the mixture steep for about 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags and mint leaves.
  4. Stir in honey or sugar if desired, allowing it to dissolve completely.
  5. Add the bright lemon slices once cooled.
  6. Pour into glasses filled with ice cubes.

Notes

Serve in tall, clear glasses to showcase the colors and lemon slices. Pairs well with light appetizers.
