Description

A flavorful Greek Chicken marinated in olive oil, garlic, and oregano, served with a refreshing homemade tzatziki sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Fresh dill (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to prepare the marinade.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in the marinade and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and grill marks appear.
  5. While grilling, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, minced garlic, and dill in a bowl to prepare the tzatziki. Season with salt to taste.
  6. Serve the grilled chicken with a generous dollop of tzatziki.

Notes

Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after grilling for juiciness. Store leftovers in airtight containers.
