These Gingerbread Rice Krispie Treats are a delightful twist on a classic, infused with the warm spices of gingerbread, making them perfect for holiday gatherings.

- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/4 cup molasses
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Add the mini marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.
- Stir in the ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and molasses until well combined.
- Remove from heat and add the Rice Krispies cereal and a pinch of salt; stir until coated.
- Lightly grease a 9×13 inch pan and press the mixture evenly into it.
- Cool completely for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
To prevent sticking, use a spatula or damp hands when pressing the mixture into the pan.
