Description

Delightful no-bake mousse domes infused with ginger, cinnamon, and coffee, all wrapped in a glossy chocolate shell.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Chocolate glaze or shell for topping

Instructions

  1. Whip the cream until soft peaks form, then gradually add sugar and cocoa powder, whipping until stiff peaks form.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, brewed coffee, and vanilla extract.
  3. Dissolve gelatin in warm water, then combine with the coffee mixture.
  4. Gently fold the coffee mixture into the whipped cream until no streaks remain.
  5. Pour the mousse into dome molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until firm.
  6. Unmold and dip each dome in chocolate glaze or drizzle on top.
  7. Serve chilled with additional toppings as desired.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute with coconut cream and use vegan gelatin like agar-agar.
