Ingredients

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup brewed coffee
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon gelatin
- 1/4 cup water
- Chocolate glaze or shell for topping
Instructions
- Whip the cream until soft peaks form, then gradually add sugar and cocoa powder, whipping until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, mix ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, brewed coffee, and vanilla extract.
- Dissolve gelatin in warm water, then combine with the coffee mixture.
- Gently fold the coffee mixture into the whipped cream until no streaks remain.
- Pour the mousse into dome molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until firm.
- Unmold and dip each dome in chocolate glaze or drizzle on top.
- Serve chilled with additional toppings as desired.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute with coconut cream and use vegan gelatin like agar-agar.
