- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder

- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 5 large eggs

- 1 cup toasted pecans, chopped
- 1 cup sweetened coconut flakes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Generously grease your bundt pan with butter and dust it with flour.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined. Set aside.
- Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients and vanilla extract until combined.
- Fold in the toasted pecans.
- Pour the batter into the bundt pan and smooth the top. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- For frosting, mix together coconut flakes and chopped pecans with your choice of cream, then spread over the cooled cake.
