- 4 halibut fillets
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, melted butter, and olive oil. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place halibut fillets on it.
- Press the breadcrumb mixture onto the top of each fillet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the fish is opaque and flaky and the crust is golden brown.
- Garnish with lemon wedges and serve.
Notes
For best results, avoid overcooking the fish to maintain its moisture. Broil for the last 2 minutes for a crispier crust.
