Description

A delightful dish featuring succulent halibut fillets with a crispy, flavorful garlic and Parmesan crust, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 halibut fillets
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, melted butter, and olive oil. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place halibut fillets on it.
  4. Press the breadcrumb mixture onto the top of each fillet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the fish is opaque and flaky and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Garnish with lemon wedges and serve.

Notes

For best results, avoid overcooking the fish to maintain its moisture. Broil for the last 2 minutes for a crispier crust.
