- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 fat content recommended)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits each)
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tsp garlic powder (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until browned (about 6-8 minutes). Drain excess fat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
- Flatten each biscuit and add 1-2 tablespoons of the beef mixture to the center. Fold and pinch edges to seal.
- Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with parmesan and garlic powder. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Customize the filling with different meats or add sautéed vegetables for extra flavor. Can be made ahead and frozen.
