- 1 pound chicken breast
- 4 sandwich buns
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the chicken breast with Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Sear the chicken breasts in a skillet with olive oil over medium heat until golden brown, about 6 to 8 minutes per side.
- Slice the cooked chicken thinly.
- Create the garlic butter by melting butter in the skillet and adding minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Coat the sliced chicken in the garlic butter.
- Prepare the sandwich buns by lightly toasting them.
- Build your sandwich with garlic butter chicken, chopped romaine, and Parmesan cheese.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. The chicken and garlic butter can be prepared in advance.
