Description

A comforting and flavorful bowl of ramen bursting with spicy chicken and a creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cups chicken broth (low-sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 packs of ramen noodles
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chili oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, season chicken thighs with chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear marinated chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and butter over medium heat, sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and mix until combined; set aside.
  5. Prepare ramen noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  6. In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat, sauté remaining garlic for 1 minute, add chicken broth and cream. Bring to a simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Place ramen noodles in bowls, pour broth over and top with chicken, drizzle with creamy garlic sauce.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and optional chili oil before serving.
