A creamy and flavorful Feta Olive Dip, perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in.
Ingredients
- Feta Cheese (8 oz)
- Cream Cheese (8 oz)
- Green Olives (1 cup, pitted and chopped)
- Lemon Zest (1 tsp)
- Garlic (1 clove, minced)
- Olive Oil (1 tbsp, optional)
- Fresh Herbs (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Combine 8 oz of whipped feta cheese and 8 oz of cream cheese in a mixing bowl and mix on medium speed until smooth (about 2-3 minutes).
- Chop 1 cup of green olives coarsely while the cheese is mixing.
- Mix in the chopped olives, 1 tsp of lemon zest, and 1 clove of minced garlic until fully incorporated.
- If desired, drizzle in 1 tbsp of olive oil and mix again.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Before serving, stir gently, transfer to a serving bowl, and garnish with fresh herbs. Serve with pita chips or veggies.
Notes
For extra detail, serve in a hollowed-out bell pepper or bread bowl. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
