Description
Eyeball Jell-O Cups are a spooky and fun Halloween treat made with layered Jell-O, whipped cream, and candy eyeballs. These creepy yet delicious desserts are perfect for parties and will delight both kids and adults.
Ingredients
– 1 box (6 ounces) Green Jell-O (Lime)
– 2 cups Boiling Water
– 2 cups Cold Water
– 8-10 Gummy Eyeballs
– 10 Clear Plastic Cups (9-ounce size)
– Optional: Whipped Cream and Sprinkles
Instructions
- Dissolve one package of Jell-O in 1 cup boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.
- Add 1 cup cold water and stir.
- Pour the Jell-O mixture into clear plastic cups, filling each about halfway. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, or until set.
- Repeat steps 1-2 with the second package of Jell-O and let cool to room temperature (do not refrigerate yet).
- Once the first layer is set, top with a layer of whipped cream.
- Gently pour the cooled second Jell-O layer over the whipped cream.
- Refrigerate for another 2-3 hours, or until fully set.
- Just before serving, add candy eyeballs on top. Optionally, add gummy worms for extra creepiness.
- Serve chilled.
Notes
- For a clearer ‘eyeball’ effect, use white or light-colored Jell-O for the top layer.
- Ensure the first Jell-O layer is fully set before adding the whipped cream and second layer.
- Use store-bought candy eyeballs or make your own with white chocolate chips and black icing.
- These can be made a day in advance; add eyeballs just before serving to prevent sinking.
