- 8 oz white chocolate (chopped)
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg (plus more for topping)
- 2 tbsp eggnog
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 10 oz white chocolate for coating (chopped or chips)
- Flaky sea salt (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Melt the 8 oz chopped white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments.
- Combine melted chocolate, cream cheese, powdered sugar, nutmeg, eggnog, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl and stir until smooth.
- Chill the mixture in the fridge for at least 1 hour until firm.
- Roll chilled mixture into balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Freeze the truffles for 10 minutes to firm up.
- Melt the remaining 10 oz white chocolate for coating and dip each truffle, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
- Sprinkle nutmeg and sea salt on top of the coated truffles while the chocolate is still wet.
- Let the truffles set completely before serving.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 1 month.
