- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup eggnog
- 1 (11 oz) bag white chocolate chips
- 1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow crème
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the granulated sugar, unsalted butter, and eggnog. Stir constantly until melted and it comes to a gentle boil.
- Let the mixture boil for 4 minutes, stirring constantly until it thickens and turns a soft golden color.
- Turn off the heat and stir in the white chocolate chips until fully melted.
- Mix in marshmallow crème, vanilla extract, ground nutmeg, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Pour into an 8×8 inch baking dish lined with parchment paper and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Once set, lift out using parchment paper, slice into squares, and serve.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Can be made a week in advance; allow proper chilling time.
