  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg (for glaze)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Activate the Yeast: In a small bowl, mix warm eggnog with active dry yeast and granulated sugar. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Mix the Dough: In a stand mixer, combine yeast mixture, egg, and melted butter. Gradually add flour and salt, knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  3. Let the Dough Rise: Transfer to a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  4. Make the Filling: Mix brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
  5. Roll Out the Dough: Punch down the dough and roll into a 12×15 inch rectangle.
