- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed (for filling)

- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2–3 tbsp eggnog (for glaze)
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg (for glaze)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)
Instructions
- Activate the Yeast: In a small bowl, mix warm eggnog with active dry yeast and granulated sugar. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- Mix the Dough: In a stand mixer, combine yeast mixture, egg, and melted butter. Gradually add flour and salt, knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Let the Dough Rise: Transfer to a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- Make the Filling: Mix brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Roll Out the Dough: Punch down the dough and roll into a 12×15 inch rectangle.
- Add the Filling: Spread softened butter over dough, sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mix on top.
- Roll and Cut: Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 9 equal rolls.
- Second Rise: Place rolls in a greased dish, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 22-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Make the Glaze: Whisk powdered sugar, eggnog, vanilla extract, and nutmeg until smooth.
- Glaze and Serve: Drizzle glaze over rolls while warm, serve immediately.
