- 4 cups Fresh Peaches, sliced
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the sliced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Allow to sit for 10 minutes.
- Whisk together the flour, milk, melted butter, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Spoon the peach mixture over the batter, allowing the juices to seep in.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly before serving to let flavors develop.
Notes
