Description

A deliciously easy peach dessert that’s perfect for summer, featuring a warm, fluffy batter and juicy peaches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups Fresh Peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sliced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Allow to sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Whisk together the flour, milk, melted butter, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  5. Spoon the peach mixture over the batter, allowing the juices to seep in.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool slightly before serving to let flavors develop.

Notes

Serve warm with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It’s great for potlucks and can be made ahead of time.
