Description

Delightful pastries made with flaky puff pastry and a sweet mulberry filling, topped with a luscious glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh mulberries (or blueberries/blackberries)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Juice of 1 mulberry (for glaze)
  • Powdered sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the puff pastry by rolling it out on a floured surface until thin.
  3. Mix the fresh mulberries, sugar, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  4. Place a spoonful of the berry mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Fold the corners over to create a star shape.
  6. Bake the pastries for approximately 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Mix mulberry juice with powdered sugar for the glaze.
  8. Drizzle the glaze over warm danishes and serve.
