Description

These vibrant green Grinch Cookies are a delightful blend of soft, chewy texture and sweet, buttery flavor, perfect for adding holiday cheer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Green food coloring
  • Red candy hearts or M&M’s

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  5. Add green food coloring until you reach desired shade.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Press a red candy heart or M&M into each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are slightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
