- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter (melted)
- Syrup or powdered sugar for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
- Add the cubed bread to the egg mixture and gently stir to coat.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
- Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown and a knife inserted comes out clean.
- Serve warm with syrup or powdered sugar.
