Description

Indulge in cheesy, savory jumbo pasta shells filled with creamy ricotta and hearty ground beef, all smothered in rich marinara sauce and baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, and cook until browned. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix the cooked beef thoroughly with ricotta cheese until combined.
  5. Stuff the cooked pasta shells with the beef and ricotta mixture.
  6. Spread marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Arrange the stuffed shells on top of the sauce.
  8. Pour the remaining sauce over the shells and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
  11. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a creamier texture, use whole milk ricotta. Substitute with vegan alternatives for a plant-based version.
