Juicy, flavorful chicken breasts coated in a crispy ranch-seasoned breading, baked to golden perfection – an effortless weeknight dinner with only 5 minutes of prep!
Ingredients
4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In shallow dish, mix panko, Parmesan, ranch seasoning, garlic powder and pepper.
- Dip chicken breasts in melted butter, then coat evenly with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place on baking sheet. Drizzle any remaining butter over chicken.
- Bake 20-25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and coating is golden.
- Garnish with parsley. Serve with ranch dressing if desired.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil 1-2 minutes at the end
- Can use chicken thighs – increase baking time to 30-35 minutes
- Make your own ranch seasoning with 2 tbsp dried buttermilk powder, 1 tsp each dill, parsley, onion powder, and 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Leftovers make great chicken sandwiches
