Description

A delightful and fresh twist on classic coleslaw, featuring sweet apples and a zesty dressing, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1 cup apples, diced (preferably Granny Smith)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, and diced apples. Toss gently.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey (or sugar), and a pinch of salt and pepper until creamy.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until fully coated.
  4. Cover and let the coleslaw chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Serve alongside sandwiches, tacos, or at BBQs and potlucks.
