Description

A heartwarming slow-cooked dish featuring chicken breasts in a creamy, garlic-infused sauce that’s perfect for both weeknight dinners and special gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, and optional red pepper flakes.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the crockpot and pour the creamy sauce over the top.
  4. Sprinkle the sun-dried tomatoes over the chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours.
  6. Add butter during the last 30 minutes of cooking and stir in.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream. For dairy-free, use coconut cream.
