Description

A healthier pizza alternative combining creamy cottage cheese and mozzarella, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups full-fat cottage cheese
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup pasta sauce (marinara or pizza sauce)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup mixed pizza toppings
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the cottage cheese and eggs in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Season with garlic powder and oregano, stirring until incorporated.
  4. Prepare a 9×9 inch baking dish by greasing it and spreading a layer of pasta sauce on the bottom.
  5. Layer half of the cottage cheese mixture over the sauce.
  6. Add ½ cup of shredded mozzarella and your mixed toppings on top.
  7. Seal with the remaining cottage cheese mixture and finish with mozzarella.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Ensure fresh toppings are dried before adding to prevent a watery bake. Leftovers can be stored for up to 3-4 days.
