Description

Delicious Paleo and Vegan Dark Chocolate Fig Truffles made with dried figs, nuts, and dark chocolate, perfect for special occasions and sweet cravings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dried figs, stems removed and sliced into thirds
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/3 cup walnut pieces
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Blend the figs, shredded coconut, walnuts, and salt in a food processor until sticky yet firm.
  2. Shape about a tablespoon of the mixture into a ball.
  3. Chill the truffle balls in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Melt the dark chocolate over low heat until smooth.
  5. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Decorate with remaining melted chocolate or toppings if desired.
  7. Chill again in the fridge for 15-20 minutes to harden.
