Ingredients

  • 1 cup guava paste
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 3×3-inch squares.
  3. Place a spoonful of guava paste in the center of each square.
  4. Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and seal the edges with a fork.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  6. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
