- 24 Oreo Cookies (double-stuffed for extra creaminess)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/8 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 6 TBSP unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 6 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 4 TBSP unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 3 additional Oreo Cookies (for topping, crushed)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Crush 24 Oreo Cookies into fine crumbs.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, and flour. Whisk until well combined.
- Add in the softened butter, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until completely combined.
- Scoop about 2 TBSP of cookie dough and place them onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2-3 inches apart.
- Bake for 9 minutes, then cool completely on a wire rack.
- For the frosting, beat together cream cheese and butter until creamy. Add vanilla extract and gradually incorporate powdered sugar.
- Once cookies are cooled, pipe frosting in a spiral on top using a Ziploc bag.
- Sprinkle crushed Oreo Cookies over the frosting.
- Enjoy or store leftovers in the fridge!
Notes
For uniform cookie shapes, consider using a cookie scoop. Use powdered sugar to achieve the best frosting texture.
