Ingredients

  • 89 pound fully cooked spiral sliced bone-in ham
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • Dash of ground ginger
  • Dash of onion powder

Instructions

  1. Place the spiral cut ham in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Pour 1 cup of orange juice and 1 cup of pineapple juice over the ham.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of brown sugar with cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves, paprika, ground ginger, and onion powder.
  4. Sprinkle about ¼ cup of the brown sugar mixture around the ham, then press the remaining mixture on top.
  5. If the lid doesn’t fit snugly, cover with aluminum foil.
  6. Set the slow cooker to low heat and cook for 240-300 minutes (4-5 hours).
  7. Baste the ham with juices once or twice during cooking if desired.
  8. Once heated through to 140°F, it’s time to serve!
