Description

A rich and savory crockpot dish featuring tender cube steak, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds cube steak
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Mushrooms or vegetables of your choice

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced onion at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Season the cube steaks with salt and pepper.
  3. Mix together the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then pour over the seasoned cube steak.
  4. If using, add the mushrooms or other vegetables at this point.
  5. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours until the steak is fork-tender.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

To thicken the sauce, whisk in a cornstarch slurry shortly before serving if it’s too thin. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
