Ingredients

- 2 pounds cube steak
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- Optional: Mushrooms or vegetables of your choice
Instructions
- Place the sliced onion at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Season the cube steaks with salt and pepper.
- Mix together the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then pour over the seasoned cube steak.
- If using, add the mushrooms or other vegetables at this point.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours until the steak is fork-tender.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
To thicken the sauce, whisk in a cornstarch slurry shortly before serving if it’s too thin. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
