- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley (optional)
- Lemon slices and cherry tomatoes (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Sear the chicken in a skillet with olive oil and butter for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet for about 1 minute.
- Deglaze the pan with chicken broth and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, whisking until smooth.
- Combine the creamy sauce and chicken in the crockpot, adding lemon slices and cherry tomatoes if desired.
- Cook on LOW for 4-5 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Stir the sauce before serving and garnish with fresh parsley.
