- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet Italian seasoning mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 8 oz angel hair pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot, arranging them evenly at the bottom.
- In a medium bowl, mix the Italian seasoning, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Pour this mixture evenly over the chicken.
- Cut the cream cheese into cubes and scatter them atop the chicken.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken shreds easily.
- About 30 minutes before serving, prepare the angel hair pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken in the pot and stir it into the creamy sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve the chicken mixture over the cooked angel hair pasta and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Notes
For the creamiest sauce, use room temperature cream cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
