Crispy Vegetable Rice Paper Dumplings

Description

Delightful and crispy dumplings filled with mixed vegetables, enveloped in airy rice paper wraps.


Ingredients

Scale
  • Rice Paper Wraps
  • 2 cups Mixed Vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, cabbage, mushrooms)
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Grated Ginger
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup Oil for Frying (canola or peanut oil)

Instructions

  1. Heat about 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for about 1 minute.
  3. Toss in mixed vegetables, soy sauce, salt, and pepper; cook for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Soak rice paper wraps in warm water for 10 seconds until pliable.
  5. Assemble dumplings with vegetable filling, folding and sealing tightly.
  6. Heat 1/4 cup oil in a frying pan and fry dumplings for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  7. Serve hot with dipping sauces like sweet chili or soy sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. These dumplings can also be frozen before frying.
