- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a shallow bowl, mix together panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning.
- Drizzle olive oil over each chicken breast, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange the coated chicken on the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- While baking, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, add minced garlic, sauté until fragrant, then add lemon juice and chicken broth, simmering for 5 minutes.
- Drizzle the garlic sauce over the baked chicken before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, broil the chicken for 1-2 minutes at the end of cooking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
