Description

These crab cake bites are a delightful blend of sweet lump crab meat and creamy cheese, coated in crispy panko and served with a refreshing lemon-dill sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lump Crab Meat
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Chives (chopped)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by chopping the chives and setting them aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and Old Bay seasoning; mix well until creamy.
  3. Gently fold in the lump crab meat and chopped chives.
  4. Add the egg and mix until fully incorporated, then form small bite-sized patties.
  5. Coat each crab cake bite in panko and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. While baking, prepare your Zesty Lemon-Dill Sauce by mixing together sour cream, lemon juice, chopped dill, and salt to taste.
