Deliciously crispy air fryer wontons filled with tender ground pork, seasoned with garlic and cilantro for a flavor explosion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 300 grams ground pork
  • 5 cloves garlic (peeled)
  • 1 cilantro root
  • 1/2 teaspoon white peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • Olive oil (to coat)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the flavor base: Place the garlic in a mortar and pound until it’s fine.
  2. Add freshness: Incorporate the cilantro root and continue to pound until combined.
  3. Seasoning: Add the white peppercorns and pound until fine, then set aside.
  4. Combine: Mix the ground pork with the pounded herbs, soy sauce, and sugar.
  5. Assemble the wontons: Place about a tablespoon of the pork mixture in the center of a wonton wrapper and fold.
  6. Seal to perfection by folding the edges and using water to stick.
  7. Oil it up with olive oil on both sides of the wontons.
  8. Cook in the air fryer at 356°F (180°C) for 15-20 minutes, checking halfway.
  9. Serve immediately for the best crunch.

Notes
