Instructions
- Prep the Potatoes: Wash and cut the potatoes into wedges, aiming for uniform sizes.
- Soak the Wedges: Soak the potato wedges in cold water for 15-30 minutes, then pat dry.
- Season: Toss the wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Cook the wedges for 15-18 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Add the Cheese: In the last 2-3 minutes, sprinkle shredded cheese over the wedges to melt.
Notes
For extra crunch, dust the wedges with cornstarch before seasoning. Ensure they are patted dry thoroughly after soaking.
