  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix of mozzarella and pepper jack)
  • 2 tablespoons green onions (sliced) – optional
  • 2 tablespoons bacon bits – optional
  • Sour cream or ranch for dipping – optional

Instructions

  1. Prep the Potatoes: Wash and cut the potatoes into wedges, aiming for uniform sizes.
  2. Soak the Wedges: Soak the potato wedges in cold water for 15-30 minutes, then pat dry.
  3. Season: Toss the wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Cook the wedges for 15-18 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  5. Add the Cheese: In the last 2-3 minutes, sprinkle shredded cheese over the wedges to melt.
