- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for garnish)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Optional Searing: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Mix the Sauce: In your crock pot, mix together the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Add the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the sauce, making sure they are well coated.
- Cooking Time: Cover your crock pot and set it to cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the Chicken: Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the crock pot and mix it into the sauce.
- Incorporate the Sour Cream: Stir in the sour cream until fully combined.
- Finishing Touches: Top with shredded cheddar cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
