  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for garnish)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Optional Searing: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  2. Mix the Sauce: In your crock pot, mix together the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Add the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the sauce, making sure they are well coated.
  4. Cooking Time: Cover your crock pot and set it to cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Shred the Chicken: Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the crock pot and mix it into the sauce.
  6. Incorporate the Sour Cream: Stir in the sour cream until fully combined.
  7. Finishing Touches: Top with shredded cheddar cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
